How we create your custom Adirondack chairs

Our chairs are sourced from Canada and delivered in pieces to our workshop.  After your order is placed:

• Each chair piece is hand sanded and primed.
• Your custom design is hand sketched.
• Each piece is hand painted in the colors of your choice.
• We paint your design on the edges between the slats on the chair back and seat.  This gives each chair a "3D" type of look; the design flows when you look at the chair from each side, creating a professional finish.  We think of this as our own special touch - and something you don't often see on painted Adirondack chairs.
• We hand assemble all pieces and paint any visible screws in matching colors so they blend into the work.
• The chair is then protected with a high-quality exterior finish.

Depending on the complexity of your design, each chair requires at least 40 hours of labor.  We take extreme pride in delivering a piece of functional artwork that you will enjoy for years to come!

Pricing:

• Traditional adult chairs start at $650; price may increase depending on design.
• Kid-sized chairs start at $450; price may increase depending on design.
• Because these are custom items, we require a deposit before beginning work.
• We are able to deliver chairs to areas local to Indian Lake, NY.  Please call to discuss options for shipping or delivery to locations outside the immediate area.
